Nifty Worksheets is a small, independent worksheet library, built by teachers and homeschooling parents tired of paywalls, watermarks, and email walls between them and a printable times-table sheet.
We started Nifty Worksheets because we kept hitting the same wall every Sunday night. You search "fractions worksheet Grade 4," and you get fifteen sites asking for an email, three asking for a credit card on a free preview, and one that lets you download, but only after you've waded through twelve ads and a Pinterest mosaic that doesn't resemble what's inside the PDF.
So we built the site we wanted to use. Every worksheet on Nifty Worksheets is genuinely free. No accounts, no email gate, no watermarked previews. The preview you see is the worksheet you print. The answer key comes in the same file. The PDF works on both Letter and A4.
We pay our bills through tasteful display ads. Never popups, never autoplay video, never on the worksheet PDFs themselves. If an ad is ever in your way, tell us, and we'll move it.
Every sheet on Nifty Worksheets has been run through a real lesson with real kids. No theoretical templates, no AI-spit clip art. If a teacher wouldn't reach for it twice, it doesn't ship.
The bar isn't "is it correct." It's "would you teach with it again next year?" Sheets that score a re-print from at least three of our reviewers make the library.
Black-and-white print friendly. Generous spacing for student work. No decorative fonts that fall apart on a school photocopier. The aesthetic is honest schoolhouse, not Pinterest cosplay.
Twelve years teaching elementary in Brooklyn. Started Nifty Worksheets out of a Google Drive folder she shared with friends.
Curates every reading worksheet. Has strong opinions about decodable text and even stronger opinions about Comic Sans.
Makes sure every sheet prints beautifully on a school photocopier. Will die on the hill of 14pt minimum body type.
Reviews every math submission. Has tutored more Grade 5 fractions sessions than any human should reasonably attempt.
Yes. Every worksheet on Nifty Worksheets is free to download, print, and use in your classroom or home. No account, no email, no upsell. We're supported by display advertising on the site (never on the PDFs themselves).
Classroom and homeschool use is always free. For commercial use (a paid tutoring program, a course you sell, a printed book) please get in touch first. We're usually happy to grant a license, and we ask that you credit the original author.
We publish a fresh batch every Friday, usually 5 to 10 new sheets, plus one new roundup article. Subscribe to "The Friday Folder" to get them in your inbox.
Please do. Send us a PDF and a short note on what grade/skill it targets via the Submit page. We can't accept everything, but we read every submission and pay a small honorarium for sheets that make the library.
Because we want every kid to have access. The moment we put a worksheet behind a paywall, we lose the homeschool co-op that prints 200 copies for free, the substitute teacher who needs something at 6:45am, the dad with three kids who can't justify another $9/month. Ads aren't ideal, but they keep the door open.
No. We don't ask for kid info, and we don't even ask for yours. Our site uses basic, anonymous analytics so we know which worksheets are popular, and ads served by our partner Mediavine are configured to be COPPA-compliant.
2,418 worksheets, sorted, tested, and waiting. Find what you need in under thirty seconds. That's a promise.
